Arrivalist

The VTC Research Team is partnering with Arrivalist to bring multiple research offerings to VTC-recognized DMOs. Arrivalist provides mobile location insights for Destination Marketers detailing visitor origins, behaviors and visitation patterns, length of stay, among many other insights.

  • Access all the documents specific to Arrivalist State Dispersion Portal Here.
  • Contact Dan Roberts at [email protected] or Pratiksha Bhattarai at [email protected] to access the State Dispersion Portal or for any general questions on the Arrivalist co-op program.
  • Contact Lindsey Norment at [email protected] for general VTC Marketing co-op inquiries.
  • Contact Charles Lewis with Arrivalist at [email protected] for Arrivalist Account Management.

Offering 1: State Dispersion Portal

What it is: Streamlined origin market data & length of stay data primarily at the state-wide level in a single-view dashboard. Results are filterable by date and for counties & independent cities in Virginia.

Cost: Zero-cost for VTC-recognized DMOs upon completion of an in-kind grant application. Access is enabled for one calendar year. This is a research grant with VTC paying Arrivalist on behalf of DMO applicants. Partners will have their own logins to a standardized portal and will have to complete an annual report demonstrating what media was secured, and what decisions were made using the data.

Who is Eligible: VTC-recognized DMOs as of August 31, 2023, with a total operational budget of less than $3M. DMOs with budgets larger than $3M should participate in the Arrivalist co-op programs detailed below as this program is geared for smaller DMOs.

NOTE: Applications for the FY25 Grant Program are now closed.

Offering 2: Arrivalist Co-Op Programs

What it is: Full-access to flagship Arrivalist programs at VTC-secured discount rates. DMOs participating will have their own procurement, contract, and client support between themselves and Arrivalist.

Cost: VTC is subsidizing the first 5 Virginia DMO participants in the Arrivalist Trip offerings below by $4,000 each.

Arrivalist Trip$22,500 ($18,500 after subsidy)
Arrivalist Trip with Media Attribution (up to 500M impressions + website)$50,000 ($46,000 after subsidy)
Arrivalist Trip with Media Attribution (up to 500M impressions + website, 100 million CTV, OOH, SmartTV, LTV, Online Radio)$70,000 ($66,000 after subsidy)
Arrivalist Lodging$25,000

Who is Eligible: VTC recognized DMOs as of August 31, 2024. Co-Op participation will be open until the 5 slots are taken with Arrivalist. After that point, DMOs will be charged for the discounted rates above without the VTC Research subsidy.

How to Participate:

  • Contact Dan Roberts at [email protected] or Pratiksha Bhattarai at [email protected] for general questions, and to demonstrate interest in the Arrivalist co-op program for tracking purposes.
  • Contact Lindsey Norment at [email protected] for general VTC Marketing co-op inquiries.
