What are the Community Consensus Meetings?
The Community Consensus Meeting is how DRIVE 2.0 will be implemented into the communities across Virginia. Once communities come to a consensus on their promotion, product and make the case/ advocacy plans they will have the opportunity to apply for grant funds to implement any effort from those plans.
What happens at a Community Consensus Meeting?
The results of the community hub and spoke survey will be reviewed by either VTC staff and/or SIR to facilitate the in-person or virtual Community Consensus Meeting.
- The results of the community hub and spoke survey will be reviewed by either VTC staff and/or SIR to facilitate the in-person or virtual Community Consensus Meeting
- The three Hub and Spokes from the survey results will be reviewed by the facilitator and discussed among the group. These will be:
- Promotion
- Product Development
- Make the Case/Advocacy
- The group will discuss and review each Hub and Spoke with the facilitator and discuss next steps to put the Hub and Spoke plans into action.
- Upon completion of the meeting a community can apply/submit for their grant funds.
