Award tiers:
- Tier One: up to $5,000 for event/festivals with a minimum of 500 attendees to 4,999 attendees
- Tier Two: up to $10,000 for events/festivals with a minimum of 5,000 attendees up to 19,999 attendees
- Tier Three: up to $20,000 for events/festivals with a minimum of 20,000 attendees. (Attendance is cumulative based on the total number of attendees per day multiplied by the number of days the event/festival is held.)
Purpose: To drive regional and overnight visitation to destinations in Virginia increasing visitor length of stay and increasing visitor spending.
