New in 2026!
It is VTC’s goal to provide statewide support and to drive statewide visitation through our grant programs. There are new documentation and reporting requirements. Please attend a live webinar or watch the recording BEFORE applying. And after careful review, we have adjusted eligibility in some programs
- Applicants who qualify may NOT apply for both the DMO Marketing program and the Marketing Leverage Program. Carefully review program requirements, award tiers and match requirements before applying.
- Applicants who apply for the Marketing Leverage Program and receive an award may NOT apply for the Microbusiness Marketing Leverage Program opening in mid-June.
- Applicants who have already received an award from the Special Events & Festivals Program grant for the same event in 2026 may NOT apply for the 2026 Marketing Leverage Program. However, they may apply to the Marketing Leverage Program for a different event.
For questions about your prior award status and eligibility, please contact Staci Martin, Grants Director, at smartin@virginia.org.
