- Virginia Destination Marketing Organizations (who have been established for at least 6-months at time of applying) must complete the online Application on vatc.org/driveoutdoor during the application period at the beginning of the round. Please see the grant round timeline found here.
- Once completed, communities received a notification at the end of the application grading period if they had been selected to participate in the current grant round.
- If selected, the community worked with VTC to host their DRIVE Outdoor workshop, led by SIR.
- After the DRIVE Outdoor workshop is completed, communities are eligible to apply for grant funds for product development.
