Fall Color Getaways Go Green in Virginia

RICHMOND, Va. – Virginia’s 15 million acres of foliage will burst into brilliant colors this fall, with green set to be the standout color of the season. New Virginia Green travel options and money-saving travel packages from hotels, resorts and inns will help travelers be green and save some green on fall getaways in Virginia.

Travelers passionate about the environment should check out Virginia Green travel options for fall trips. Virginia Green is a statewide program that certifies hotels, restaurants, attractions and other sites that recycle, conserve water and energy and take other steps to reduce harmful effects on the environment.
