President's Notes

Show your passion for your destination or attraction and help VTC get more ink in Southern Living! Between now and July 21, 2008, Southern Living is running their annual Readers’ Choice poll.

This is an exceptional time for you to vote for all of your favorite Virginia destinations and attractions (including your own). Whether it a favorite beach, shopping neighborhood, weekend getaway, small town, fair or festival, restaurant or hotel (among other categories), this is a free opportunity to get exposure in this very beautiful and popular publication.

Don’t stop there. Encourage your members to recruit satisfied travelers to your area to do the same. The poll asks people to tell about their favorite spots for travel in the South. Let’s make a Virginia destination #1 in every category! Take the poll now at SouthernLiving.com.
