Suggested Itineraries
Submit your itineraries to the Group Tour website for the Group Tour Itinerary Planner.
Greetings Virginia DMOs,
We are working with Leisure Publishing on the 2011 Virginia Group Tour Itinerary Planner that will again provide suggested themed itineraries from throughout the state and continue to be the main resource for buyer fulfillments from the VTC. Suggested themed itineraries continue to be the most requested Virginia information from the buyers. Together with the companion Virginia Travel Guide, the VGTIP is the resourceful marketing tool providing buyers with many reasons and experiences when traveling to your destinations.
Add your itinerary to Virginia.org: We are compiling itineraries by regions and themes electronically on www.virginia.org.
More and more group tour industry professionals use the web to research destinations, themed experiences and contacts to customize a group trip. Remember, this website is free to all Virginia travel industry to use as an extension of your sales and marketing efforts, which in turn helps VTC market your travel products to the trade industry.
Be Visible in the 2011 Virginia Group Tour Itinerary Planner: By populating the website, suggested itineraries from DMOs will also be used for possible inclusion in the 2011 Virginia Group Tour Itinerary Planner! The deadline to submit your itineraries online is Friday, April 2nd to meet the publisher’s timelines. Please include changes/updates to email and websites, refresh the content or add new itineraries to the www.virginia.org group website that best represent themed and diverse experiences in your region.
