What is eVA?

eVA stands for Electronic Virginia.  It is the Virginia state electronic procurement system, and works via the internet.  All Virginia State Agencies and many local governments use eVA to find vendors and place orders.  If you wish to do business with the state agencies, you will need to register with eVA.  To learn more and to register go to http://www.eva.virginia.gov.

What does it Cost to Register and Do Business through eVA?

Original registration for both Basic and Premium service is $25.  There is also an annual registration renewal fee of $25.

There is also a fee for each transaction.  This fee and cap varies depending on the type of business.  eVA registered, DMBE-Certified Small Businesses are invoiced 1% of the transaction cost, Capped at $500 per order.  eVA registered businesses that are NOT DMBE Certified Small Businesses are invoiced 1% of the transaction cost, capped at $1,500 per order.  Businesses that are not eVA registered but agree to pay the transaction fee are invoiced 1%, capped at $1,500 per order.
